An electronic-body-music duette with updated electronics and a more aggressive stylus, Funker Vogt was formed by vocalist Jens Kastel and coder Gerrit Thomas (they took the identify Funker Vogt from a radio operator quaker). The duette appeared on several compilations in their native Germany, and released their debut record album Thanks for Nothing in 1996. After the press release of 2 limited EPs (Words of Power and Take Care), Funker Vogt signed an American handle with Metropolis Records. The label reissued their debut, and too released the followup We Came to Kill in late 1997. Kastel and Thomas get similarly worked as remixers on Leæther Strip's Yes, I'm Limited, Vol. 2, relapse in mid-2000 with Maschine Zeit. T. was issued in early 2001.
